With continuously growing demand for high performance plastic films, manufacturers need technologically advanced blown film line to produce better film qualities, provide stable production volume, energy savings and reliability over a long period of time. Cygnet Machinery is among the top Blown Film Line Manufacturers in India, where they provide innovative Blown Film Extrusion solutions for HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, Biodegradable and Specialty polymer processing.
Blown film lines are widely used in the manufacture of packaging film for shopping bag, carry bag, garbage bag, agricultural film, stretch film, shrink film, geomembranes, liner and industrial packaging. Blown film lines are designed using precision technology, advanced automation and highly durable construction to optimize production with a superior film quality.
What is Blown Film Line?
Blown Film Line is a plastic extrusion equipment machine capable of producing continuous plastic films by extruding plastic granules into a circular die followed by a differentiating wind. As the molten plastic continues to spin a tubular film bubble is created, cooled, flattened, and then wound in rolls for further conversion into packaging products.
The latest film blown film lines are technically advanced with high precision, high performance winding systems, automatic thickness control and automatic temperature control systems in order to get films of outstanding strength, clarity and dimensional accuracy.

What is the working principle of a blown film line?
The manufacturing process is semi-automated with the following stages:
1.Raw Material Feeding
The extruder is fed plastic granules like HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP or biodegradable, depending on the type of plastics.
2. Plastic Melting
The screw of the extruder melts and homogenates the raw material under controlled temperature.
3. Film Extrusion
The molten polymer is forced through a precision spiral die head to produce tubular plastic film.
4. Bubble Formation
A film bubble of the desired diameter and thickness is created by inflating a molten tube with compressed air.
5. Air Cooling
High efficiency air ring to uniformly cool the bubble, which will improve the film strength and transparency.
6. Bubble Collapsing
The collapsing frames and guide rollers crush the film bubble.
7. Film Winding
The final product is wound in rolls by automatic surface or center winding machines.
